These posts are misinformed. “Putting your body in debt” is how you burn your stored fat. Your body can get any energy it needs from your stored fat, that’s what it’s there for. The reason you need to eat enough is to supply nutrients, because nutrients can’t be stored. Your body processes what it can and throws the rest of it away. I ate around 1,300 calories for 8 months and my body never went into starvation mode. I lost 40+lbs of fat and gained muscle. I seriously got really strong from doing kickboxing. My lifestyle didn’t make me sick, weak, or any of the things you claim. So unless my body exists outside of the laws of physics, this post is dead wrong. And you know how many people have lost weight by reducing calories? Millions.
